Zib crane is basically a material handling equipment wherein there is a rigid column to which a movable arm is fixed.  The length of the arm varies from 2.5 metres to 5.5 meters.  To this arm, the lifting hoist is fixed which picks up the material from the ground and transports it to the required location within movable range of this arm of the zib crane.  Zib crane is a very useful equipment as it occupies very less space and does the required work.  It is mostly useful in areas where heavy and hot material is to be shifted from one place to another with minimum effort.  This type of cranes are becoming popular these days as they are relatively cheap when compared to the other types of cranes.

This is an instrument used for measuring the flow of water. Most commonly used in households and industrial units that draw on the water supply from Corporations, Municipalities or Government water works the instrument is an important device to assess the quantum of water consumption. Water supply schemes have been rapidly expanding in the country and it is one of the priority items on the agenda of most State Governments. As such, the growth in this sector has contributed to a rapid and steady growth in the need for water meters in urban, semi-urban and also the rural areas of Kerala State. Furthermore, in many cities, the replacement market is also substantial.

In these days of power shortages non-conventional and renewable  sources of energy are gaining importance.  India, with its tropical climate, can tap Solar energy for heating water for domestic and industrial purposes, as well as  for various non-heating purposes, like street lighting, etc.  The non-conventional water heating system based on solar energy has a major advantage in that, once the initial installation is carried out,  the consumer will have minimum recurring expenditure.  This system consist of collector panels of  2M x 1M, a cold water tank and insulated piping.  If a stainless steel tank is installed, the water thus heated can be stored  in those tanks, in  100 lpd, 200 lpd and 250 lpd for domestic purposes and 1000 lpd, 2000 lpd, 3000 lpd for non-domestic segments like hotels, hostels, etc.
